Monday’s Boxing Day meeting at Kempton Park is set to be a memorable one. In the Long Walk Hurdle (Grade 1), last year’s winner, Champ, attempts to go back-to-back. Punters will be all over Constitution Hill in the Christmas Hurdle, and the King George Vi is quite a competitive race.

Miss Attitude clouted with eight pound rating increase after convincing Sandown victory

Mick Channon’s 2-year-old maiden winner, Miss Attitude, was given a penalty of +8 pounds after a surprise win last Thursday at Sandown in The British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes (Class 4). Romping home at 16/1, Charlie Bishop’s mount certainly caught the eye of the BHA ratings team who have increase her mark to 79 from 71.
