After moving from FC Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent this summer, Tenas signed a three-year contract. Although he progressed through the ranks at Barcelona, he never played for the first team.

Tenas now joins Xavi Simons and Neymar Jr. in making the move from the Spanish club to Paris Saint-Germain in recent years. Neymar spent seven years with PSG before transferring to Al-Hilal, while Simons is currently on loan to RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.

Tenas could be the next player to achieve success with Paris Saint-Germain after leaving Barcelona. He has also excelled in the Spanish national team’s youth divisions, notably as the starting goalkeeper for Spain’s victorious Euro U19 team in 2019, where they notably eliminated France in the semi-final on penalties. This experience may have contributed to his ability to thrive in unique circumstances during his debut.

With Donnarumma suspended, Tenas is expected to feature more prominently when FC Nantes visits the Parc des Princes.

Despite the pressure of following a standout performance against Le Havre, if Tenas can replicate his previous display, he may become another young talent capturing the attention of the football world in Ligue 1.
